"T" Celebrates Communities in Motion with the Lawrence Public Library 

The Lawrence Transit System and the Lawrence Public Library have partnered
up to observe the national celebration of Communities in Motion.  The event
is to educate, promote and celebrate the benefits of public transportation.

The Lawrence Public Library's children's section is highlighting Communities
in Motion by having their October theme be Things that Move.  Things that
Move will highlight the weekly story time as well as a book display. 

What:	Lawrence Public Library Children's Story Time will highlight public
transportation through children's story books and crafts.  Lawrence Transit
System will give out "T" packets.    

Who: City Commissioner Sue Hack, Lawrence Transit System Staff and Lawrence
Public Library Staff

When:	 Friday, October 8, 2004. 10:30 am - 11:00 am
