LOCATIONS TO HAVE BASKETBALL/VOLLEYBALL FREE PLAY 
LAWRENCE -The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department's Recreation
Operations Division is offering free play volleyball and basketball at two
alternate locations this winter.

With the cooperation of U.S.D. 497, Lawrence Parks and Recreation will offer
free play volleyball at Cordley Elementary, 1837 Vermont St., from 6 to 8
p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday, Jan. 4 to Mar. 10.  Free Play Basketball
will be held at Deerfield Elementary, 101 Lawrence Avenue, from 8:35 p.m. to
10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 4 through Mar. 10.

Free play is open to adults over the age of 18.

Free play basketball is also available at the department's recreation
centers at the following hours:

Community Building, 115 W. 11th St. - 	1:05 - 5 p.m. (Monday through
Friday)
					10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Saturdays)
					1 to 4 p.m. (Sundays)

Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 W. 27th St. - 	11:05 - 5 p.m.
(Monday through Friday)
						10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
(Saturdays)
						1 to 4:30 p.m. (Sundays)


East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St. -	10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
(Monday through Friday)
						10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
(Saturdays)
						1 to 6 p.m. (Sundays)
