SPACE STILL AVAILABLE IN CLUB LIAC CLASSES
LAWRENCE - Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department's Aquatic Division is
hosting Club LIAC, which offers American Red Cross aquatic certification
classes in a fast-paced setting.  Classes will be held between Monday, Dec.
20 and Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706
Overland Drive.  Enrollment is open to the public until Sunday, Dec. 19. 

Classes still available to the public include:

Lifeguard Training (ages 15+)		Dec. 20-22, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Lifeguard Management (ages 15+)		Dec. 23, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. -OR-  Dec.
30, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
AED Essentials (ages 15+)		Dec. 20, 7 to 9 p.m. -OR- Dec. 23, 5
to 7 p.m. -OR-  
				Dec. 28, 6 to 8 p.m. -OR- Dec. 30, 6 to 8
p.m.
Oxygen Administration (ages 15+)		Dec. 22, 7 to 9 p.m. -OR-
Dec. 23, 7 to 9 p.m. -OR-  
				Dec. 27, 6 to 8 p.m. -OR-  Dec. 29, 6 to 8
p.m.
Fundamentals of Instructor Training (16+)	Dec. 19, 8 a.m. to noon
Lifeguard Training Instructor (ages 17+)	Dec. 19, 1 to 7 p.m. -AND-
Dec. 20-21, 7 am to 6 p.m.
Water Safety Instructor (ages 16+)		Dec. 27-29, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Water Safety Instructor Aide (ages 11-14)	Dec. 27-28, 8 a.m. to noon
Guard Start (ages 11-14)			Dec. 29-30, 8 a.m. to noon

Cost of attending varies depending on class and pre-registration is required
for all classes.  Space is limited in each class and will be available on a
first come, first serve basis.
