=========================
Lawrence Transit System will follow these reroutes on Dec. 4.

The Lawrence Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade in downtown on Saturday, Dec. 4
will close Massachusetts Street from 7th Street to 15th Street affecting the
Lawrence Transit System's routes.

Transit buses will be unable to cross over Massachusetts St. during the
parade so the intersection of 9th and New Hampshire streets will be used to
the east of Massachusetts St. as a lay over point. The intersection of 9th
and Vermont will be used as a lay over point for routes west of
Massachusetts St. Once the parade is complete and the streets open to
vehicle traffic, the "T" will return to regular routes.

The best option for riders leaving the downtown area is to go to either the
lay over points or along New Hampshire or Vermont. Transit drivers can
provide detailed information about the re-route to riders. For more
information on routes and schedules, phone (785) 312-7054.
