To Residents and Property Owners
South and East of Allen Field House

KU Basketball is fast approaching!
The first Exhibition game is scheduled for November 4th.

Please remember that yard parking is illegal whether invited or not and
vehicles will be ticketed.  Vehicles cannot block sidewalks, park on the
right-of-way (area between curb and sidewalk), or jump curbs and park in
yards.

City Ordinance No. 17-410.30 reads:
PARKING OFF STREET, IMPROVED PARKING SURFACE REQUIRED.  No person shall park
a vehicle off the street in the front or side yard setback area, which shall
be defined as the area between the public right-of-way and the rear line of
a building or any projection thereof, unless on parking or driveway surfaces
required by the City Code.  Violation of this Section shall be punishable by
a fine not less than $30 nor more than $100 for each offense.  The City
Commission or the City Manager may determine that the provisions of this
Section are not to be enforced for a specified location or locations for a
period not to exceed 24 hours.  (Ord. 6325 and Ord. No. 7363).
