ADULT SOFTBALL REGISTRATION DEADLINE NEARS

LAWRENCE - The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department Adult Sports
Division's deadline for Fall Adult Softball Leagues is fast approaching.
Softball registrations will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16,
at the Community Building, 115 West 11th St. 

 

Leagues available include: Coed leagues (with divisions at various
skill/competition levels); Men's leagues (with divisions at various
skill/competition levels), Women's leagues (with divisions at various
skill/competition levels), a Men's Fast Pitch league, a Men's Church league,
a Men's 50 & Older league and a new Men's Wood Bat league.

 

The cost to participate is $305 per team for all leagues except Men's Fast
Pitch, which is $240. All leagues have a 10-game season, except for the Fast
Pitch league, which plays an 8-game season.

 

Registration forms, rosters and rules and regulations can be found on the
Lawrence Parks and Recreation's website at www.lprd.org. Individuals and
teams who are looking for additional players can view the "Available
Players" page, which is also found on the Adult Sports page on the web.

 

Late registrations will be accepted until Friday, July 18, if openings are
available.
