Sister Cities activities are supported, in part, through a modest city appropriation, but would not be possible without a dues-paying membership. For $25 a year, your membership dues will help promote the broader range of exchange activities occurring between the cities.

The Sister Cities Advisory Board seeks contributions to provide assistance to allow Lawrence students with financial limitations to participate in its youth exchanges. Modest scholarships are provided annually on a need basis for these exchanges. An annual fund-raising gala is held to seek funds for this scholarship fund. Gala information is available here

The Sister Cities Advisory Board is a 501(c)(3) organization. Both membership dues and scholarship donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
