ECKAN/Just Food 841-3357 Hours: M-F 9-5 2518 Ridge Court #103 Food Pantry, emergency food, commodity supplement food program, homeless/ housing counseling, rent/deposit/utility assistance, school supplies, holiday bureau, home weatherization. Call for appointment. Confirmation of Douglas County residency on first visit.
Indian Hills Church of God 601 W. 29th Terr. Feeds about 30 people once per week on Wednesday evenings. New Direction House takes in homeless families.
Penn House 842-0040 Hours: M-F 8-4 1035 Pennsylvania Food Bank (8-11 MWF, 1-3 TTh), Clothing, prescription assistance, rent/utility assistance, school supplies.
St. Clare Center 843-0109 Hours: By appointment only 1229 Vermont St. Food vouchers, rent and utility assistance. They do not assist with deposits. Assistance is limited to one time every 12 months.
