The City of Lawrence provides the opportunity for two individuals to register their domestic partnership. Domestic partners may not be married to another person, have another domestic partner, or be related by blood more closely than would bar their marriage in this state.

There is a $75 fee to register a domestic partnership with the City of Lawrence.

Domestic Partnership Registry Removal

A domestic partnership registered with the city can be removed from the registry by filling out the following form. The original registrant's confirmation number will be needed to complete the removal.
