1)     Receive staff information regarding certain funds and provide direction as appropriate.

·      General Fund – review of program improvement proposals; KPERS/KPF rate increases   Staff Memo   KPERS Information

·      Gas Tax Fund

 

2)     Review and provide direction on outside agency allocations.

·      Alcohol Advisory Board recommendations

·      Hack/Highberger recommendations

·      Staff recommendations

 

3)     Receive preliminary report from Black & Veatch on status of Water and Wastewater Rate Study, to include:   Black & Veatch Rate Study    REVISED Black & Veatch Rate

·      basic assumptions used in the rate studies

·      projected revenue increases

·      general rate policy considerations (rate structures, system development charges)

 

4)     Receive reports and recommendations re: fee increases; provide direction on:

·      Golf Course Fees – recommend $0.50 green fees increase for 2005 May Comparisons

·      Swimming Pool Fees – recommend an increase in the child’s rate from $1.25 to $1.75 in 2005

·      Sanitation Fees – recommended 2% increase for 2005

 

5)     Receive staff information regarding Special Revenue Fund concept associated with building permit fee revenue and regulation of building activity; provide direction as appropriate.
