The Board of Commissioners of the City of Lawrence met in a recess session at 11:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers in City Hall with Mayor Hodges presiding and members Dunfield, Henry, Kennedy and Rundle present.

Moved by Rundle, seconded by Henry, to recess into an executive session to discuss a personnel matter on the evaluation of the City Manager for one (1) hour.  Motion carried unanimously.

Upon returning from executive session, it was moved by Hodges, seconded by Kennedy, to approve a base salary of $103,500.00; deferred compensation of $7,000.00; longevity, if paid, of $1,050.00; a car allowance of $5,000.00; life insurance for the City Manager; and, authorize the Mayor to sign an amended employment agreement with the City Manager to reflect these salary adjustments.  Motion carried unanimously.                                                                                                                        (1)
