City infrastructure improvement projects



(LAWRENCE, KS) - One projects is scheduled to begin during the period from 

December 22 until January 9.  Contractors will begin work at 31st St. and 

Nieder Rd. on January 5, however, work will not impact traffic for several 

weeks. 



On going City infrastructure improvement projects through January 9 include:



Line installation/cleaning

Moundview Dr., Rockledge to Century Dr., occasional lane closures, completed 

approximately February 27, weather permitting



Remaining line cleaning is along 20th St., Kentucky to Learnard Ave., 

occasional traffic interruptions, completed approximately January 16 (date 

extended), weather permitting 



Concrete repairs

Iowa St., 15th St. to 19th St., southbound traffic reduced to one lane during 

the day, completed approximately December 24 (date extended due to weather), 

weather permitting



Road improvements

11th Street, east of Haskell Avenue closed from Haskell Avenue east to the 

railroad tracks, completed approximately January 30, weather permitting



Crossgate, north of Clinton Parkway, closed to through traffic, completed 

approximately January 15 (date extended), weather permitting
